Hi, I’m Milan.
I’m a creative from Deventer, the Netherlands.
I’ve always been making things. As a kid I was drawing, acting, experimenting with anything creative I could get my hands on. Around the age of 15 I found photography and film, and that stuck. It felt right immediately.
A few years later I started shooting boudoir and artistic nude photography. That quickly became my biggest passion. There’s something about the mix of trust, creativity and real human connection that I don’t find anywhere else.
What I do
I don’t like putting myself in one box. I work as a photographer, filmmaker, animator and musician. If it’s creative, I’m probably into it.
I’ve worked on projects for brands like Pepsi, Royal Club, NPO3 and a mix of smaller companies and communities. That work is usually more commercial, but I approach it the same way I approach everything else. I want it to feel real and well made.
At the same time, a big part of my work is more personal. Boudoir, erotic and artistic photography is where I feel most at home.
How I work
I like to keep things simple. No big setups if they’re not needed. Just a camera, some light, and a clear idea.
People often tell me they feel comfortable quickly when working with me. That matters a lot, especially in more intimate shoots. I take the time to listen, I communicate clearly, and I keep things relaxed.
I create in a space that is open, queer friendly and positive.
You can just be yourself. That’s usually when the best work happens.
A bit about me
I’m creative, honest and a bit stubborn in a good way. When I believe in something, I go all in.
Outside of work I spend a lot of time cooking, making music, and being around friends and the queer and creative community. I like good conversations, good food, and making things that actually mean something.
